In a hurry

Call first if it’s soon

(269) 985-7115

(269) 759-0344

For a pickup in the next twenty-four hours, call. A form that reaches an inbox is the wrong tool for a car that has to be somewhere in the morning. For anything further out, the form below is better, because it asks the questions we would otherwise have to call you back about.

Owner to confirm

Does this number take text messages, and is a text answered as quickly as a call? One sentence, in your words, goes here.

After hours, and the pickup before dawn

Chicago O’Hare (ORD) is 113 miles from Saint Joseph, about 2 hours 20 minutes, typical and without traffic. Subtract that from a 7 a.m. departure, add however long you want to be standing in the terminal first, and the pickup lands in the small hours. That is arithmetic rather than an exception, which is why the form asks for the flight and not only for the hour you think you should leave.

Owner to confirm

Earliest and latest pickup times you will accept, how much notice an overnight or pre-dawn run needs, and whether weekends are different. Write it as a fact, not as a range you might regret.

Meeting an arriving flight

Put the flight number on the form. It is the one detail that lets a pickup time be set rather than guessed, and it outlives the schedule printed on the ticket.

Owner to confirm

Whether arriving flights are monitored, and where the driver meets you: curbside, inside at baggage claim, or at the aircraft for a private arrival.

Send us the trip

Fourteen fields. Seven are required, and the four that change the answer most are the date, the pickup, the destination, and how many of you there are.

Where the written quote goes.

A number that reaches you on the day of travel.

As directed means the car and the driver are held for a block of time and the itinerary can change inside it.

Number of people travelling. An estimate is fine; say below if it may move.

A street address if you have it. A town is enough to start.

An airport code, a venue, a resort, or the city you are heading for.

The pickup date for a car, or the outbound date for a trip. If the dates are still open, choose the nearest one and say so at the end.

Leave it blank if you would rather give us the flight. The flight sets the pickup.

Airline and number for the arriving or departing flight, such as DL 1284.

Bag count, and anything oversized: golf clubs, skis, a stroller, a wheelchair.

Ask here and add the children’s ages at the end. Availability is confirmed when we quote, not before.

The things that change the plan: a meeting that may move, a second stop, a return leg, an accessibility need, who is travelling with whom.

Why there is no price on this page

A run to O’Hare at 4 a.m. on a Sunday in February is not the same job as a run to South Bend at noon. A published number that ignores that is a number we would have to revise, so we quote instead.

If you would rather talk

Call (269) 985-7115. Everything the form asks for can be answered out loud in about the same time it takes to type it.

Corporate accounts

Choose the corporate service line above and say who signs off on travel. How the corporate side works.

After you send it

What happens next

You get a reply from a person

Not a ticket number and not an automated acknowledgement. The reply comes from whoever is going to quote the trip.

We ask the two or three things the form did not cover

Usually the flight time, the return leg, or whether the meeting is the kind that moves.

You get the plan and the number in writing

Dates, times, the pickup point, and the price, in one document you can forward to whoever signs off on it. Nothing is booked until you have said yes to it.

Owner to confirm

The reply time goes here, in one sentence, including what happens to a request sent in the evening or at the weekend. It must then be repeated word for word in the opening lede of this page.
